Living healthy doesn’t mean your food needs to be bland and boring. Elements of Spice’s organics range offers four innovative herb and spice blends that are non-irradiated, have no artificial additives, have no added MSG, and do not contain genetically engineered ingredients. But they have plenty flavour, fantastic packaging and some of the most wonderful blends of herbs and spices you’ll find.
The grinders, which are made from clear, biodegradable PET, are tinted green. They are fully adjustable, so that you can decide whether to have a fine or coarse grind. The blends are packaged in recycled glass bottles, each with a tamperproof-seal with perforated opening and a snap-lock lid to preserve freshness. The packaging has been designed to be re-usable up to four times. Refills for the Elements of Spice range are in re-sealable plastic containers that are easy to pour into the grinder.
The herb and spice blends are British Retail Consortium and Kosher-Parev-certified and all the herb and spice cuts are large in order to retain the flavour-laden essential oils. The salt used in the Elements of Spice organic grinders is from the Atlantic Ocean and is rich in trace elements and minerals, making it one of the most desirable salts in the world. Herbs are sourced from a farm nestling in the foothills of South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains and are harvested at the optimum time to ensure the best quality.
Pepper is from an organic supplier who practices groundbreaking bio-diversity policies. The peppercorns are sourced from small-scale farmers who work in “Forest Gardens”. This means that the area in which they farm retains complete diversity in terms of plant life, making it ecologically and economically sustainable.
