ASSISTANT FOOD TECHNOLOGIST
THE CAPE HERB & SPICE COMPANY SEEKS TO APPOINT A ASSISTANT FOOD TECHNOLOGIST.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE SOMEONE IN POSSESSION OF A TERTIARY QUALIFICATION IN FOOD TECHNOLOGY OR RELATED FIELD AND WHO IS SEEKING TO GAIN PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD ENVIRONMENT. NON-QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WITH AT LEAST 5 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN A FMCG OR THE SPICE TRADE ENVIRONMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.
YOU WILL PRIMARILY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS, DRAWING UP NUTRITIONAL PANELS, CALCULATING PRODUCT COST AND COMPLETING BOM’S (BILLS OF MATERIAL).
COMPUTER LITERACY AT AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL IN MS OFFICE SUITE IS REQUIRED.
